How to use DixonDesk
Setup, then a walkthrough of each tab in the app — the everyday workflow plus the parts that aren’t obvious from the screen.
Purchases
Every purchase you’ve made, one row per line item — what it cost, where it came from and its shipping status, whether it arrived automatically from a connected mailbox or was entered by hand. This tab is for viewing and correcting purchase records themselves; receiving stock and logging vendor refunds happen over on Inventory, once an order’s physically arrived.
Right-click a single row for the real actions. Edit order… opens the full order editor — vendor, order number, buying method, which email account or payment source it came from, date, status, tracking, and every line item’s own item name, SKU, category, variant, quantity and price. Delete order… and Duplicate order are also here, and live as small icons directly in the row for anyone who’d rather not right-click. Select several rows at once and right-click instead offers Bulk edit, for correcting the same field — category or variant, most often — across multiple lines in one pass.
Review POs
The inbox for purchases DixonDesk parsed from your mailbox but isn’t fully confident about — an unclear price, an ambiguous item name, anything that didn’t reconcile cleanly. Confidently-parsed purchases skip this step entirely and go straight into your real inventory; only the uncertain ones land here for a quick human check, each shown with DixonDesk’s confidence level alongside the parsed details.
Review & approve… opens the same kind of order editor as Purchases’ own Edit order, pre-filled with DixonDesk’s best guess, so you’re correcting details rather than starting from a blank form. Approve selected (no edits) skips straight to accepting a batch that already looks right. Not an order dismisses anything that was never a purchase in the first place — a shipping notification, a promotional email that slipped through the parser.
