A cleanup and consistency checker — worth a periodic look, not constant attention. It surfaces things like purchases or sales with implausible dates, sales recorded with zero quantity, and stock levels that don’t reconcile with what’s actually been bought and sold, so small data issues get caught and fixed before they quietly throw off a P&L number down the line.
