How to use DixonDesk

Setup, then a walkthrough of each tab in the app — the everyday workflow plus the parts that aren’t obvious from the screen.

Dashboard

The first thing you see, and the one screen meant to answer “how’s the business doing” without digging anywhere else. Four numbers at the top — sales this month, revenue this month, profit this month, and money currently tied up in stock — plus a banner that surfaces anything that actually needs your attention: a lapsed license, a broken marketplace connection, purchases waiting on review.

Below that, five tabs, each answering a different question:

•Profit & Loss — a real P&L for any date range you pick, with quick presets (this month, last 30 days, year to date) so you’re not manually setting dates for common questions. A breakdown table underneath splits it further, by platform or by buyer.
•By period — the same numbers (profit, gross, cost of goods, order count, margin) charted over time in months, quarters or years, so you can see whether things are trending up or down, not just what today’s snapshot looks like.
•Purchases — the buying side of the same picture: what you’ve spent, broken down by email account, payment method or vendor.
•Aging stock — inventory that’s been sitting for more than 60 days, sorted by how much capital is tied up in it. The list you actually want to check periodically, not just when something feels slow.
•Trends — a simple revenue-and-profit chart over the last 6, 12 or 24 months.
